Job Opportunity: ‘In Situ’ Project Manager

Initiated by East Street Arts, supported by Hammond Associates, In Situ is a national partnership project programming and linking a range of art organisations, artist collectives and artists in order to create new opportunities and to animate meanwhile spaces across England.

We require a Project Manager role to support the development of the In Situ project and to drive forward the brand, secure and manage the properties, and to support their creative use. This post will be supported by the East Street Arts team and will work closely with Hammond Associates. It will suit someone who has experience of working with buildings and has an interest in contemporary art.

In Situ was initiated over 12 months ago and has created an impressive range of contemporary art events and workspaces across Leeds and Bradford. This new post is entirely funded through East Street Arts’ In Situ initiative.  Visit www.eaststreetarts.org.uk/headline/jobs/ for full job details

Contract term: six months initially with possible extension

Fee: £10,000 inclusive of expenses for equivalent of 3 days/week

Deadline: Monday 20th June 2011 5pm

Interviews: Thursday 30th June
